Katherine Harris

Ms. Katherine Harris, 75, of 3299 Shannon Road, Shannon, NC, died at home with family at her side on Friday, September 8, 2017.

Ms. Harris was born in Robeson County on June 25, 1942. She was a faithful member of Bethel Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie and Flora Jane Harris; two brothers, Alford Duckery and Johnnie Harris Jr.

She is survived by four sisters, Grace Jones of Shannon, Geraldine Revels and Sally Huggins of Lumberton and Carolyn Goins of Fayetteville; one brothers, James F. Harris of Lumberton; four special nephews, James, Jackie, Billy and Bobby Jones, whom she often called her children; a special cousin, Wilma Hammonds; Hospice nurse, Kelly Deal; staff at Medi Home Hospice and a special thanks to two special caregivers, her sister Geraldine and nephew Jackie and other family members for their extra care and love shown during "Ms Kat's" illness and a host of relatives and friends.
