Edward Hunt Jr. (Shudy), 65, of 1101 Hardin Road, Lumberton, died Friday, May 19, 2017 at home. He was born October 15, 1951, in Robeson County, NC.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Hunt and sister, Flora Ann Hunt.

Mr. Edward is survived by his mother, Josephine Hunt of Fairmont; his fiancé, Pauline Poston of the home; a son, Jason Hunt (Joanna) of Pembroke; two daughters, Wendy Hunt of Pembroke and Jolynn McCall (Devin) of Lumberton; two stepsons, Graham Poston and Brian Poston of Lumberton; two brothers, Franklin Hunt (Brenda) of Mt Holly, NC and Marshall Hunt of Red Springs; six sisters, Linnie Jacobs, Betty Dial, Joann Chavis, Linda Jacobs, Mary Stephens and Betty Hunt; seven grandchildren, Taylor, Tyler, Whitney, Gabriel, James, Brittany, Coby and a host of relatives and friends.
