Mr. Winford Richard Locklear was born October 19, 1981 and departed this life on August 18, 2025. He is preceded in death by his father Richard “Ricky” Chavis, two brothers: Rico Chavis and Donald Preston Chavis.
He is survived by his wife Jessica Deese, two sons: Richard Grant Locklear and Braeyson Locklear, four daughters: Charsica Locklear, Attora Locklear, Donalaya Locklear, and Jayla Strickland; one granddaughter: Eliana Locklear.
He also leaves behind his mother: Flora Locklear Chavis and one sister Frances Rose Chavis (Christopher) of Pembroke, NC; two nephews: Preston Cross and Paxton Devon, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and loved ones to celebrate his life and cherish his memory.
