Today, we gather to honor and celebrate the life of Warford Granual Maynor, age 59, of 8450 Hwy 72 West, Pembroke, North Carolina. Granual was preceded in death by his beloved mother Adeline Lowry Maynor of the Pates Community (Pembroke), and his father, James Warford Maynor of the Union Chapel Community (Pembroke).

Granual was deeply loved by his family and brought humor and joy to those around him. Known for his kindness and generosity, he was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His strong work ethic-instilled in him by his parents-was evident in every aspect of his life. Growing up at Maynor Center, Granual found peace and contentment surrounded by family, friends, and the close-knit community he cherished. He was a man of many talents, skilled in painting, roofing, plumbing, and HVAC work. Over the years, he applied these talents in various roles, including at Manville in Maxton (manufacturing railroad parts), with Robeson County Public Schools as a painter, and with Robeson County Building and Maintenance working as a maintenance technician.

Granual leaves the following to cherish his memories: son, Jeremiah Warford Maynor; brother, Harry Locklear; sisters, Kayron Maynor and Ann Hagins; nephew, Desmond Locklear (wife, Natalie); great-nephew, Kaelin Ray Locklear and great niece, Ashton B. Locklear; along with a host of extended family and friends throughout Robeson County and across the country, all of whom will hold his memory close to their hearts.
