Wanda Sue Hunt, 56, of 1533 Nye Rd, Lumberton, NC, was born on February 10, 1969. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, dear sister, and a friend to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Wanda was known for her strong personality, unwavering love, and a unique sense of tough love that always came from the heart. On Sunday, March 30, 2025, at 2:45 pm, she gained her wings and was called home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Olin and Lavonia Perritt, and her beloved sons, Emanuel and Samuel Ray Hunt.

Wanda is survived by her loving husband, Timmy Hunt, of the home; three daughters, Hannah (Rayshawn) Locklear of Raeford, NC, Samantha Thomas of Fayetteville, NC, and Tabitha Hunt of Red Springs, NC; and one son, Lee Thomas of Fayetteville, NC. She also leaves behind her precious granddaughters, Nevaeh and Scarlett. Two brothers, Michael (Robin) Perritt of Dexter, New York, and James Perritt of Fayetteville, NC, along with a host of family and friends who will forever hold her memory in their hearts.
