Victoria Frandock Obituary
Surrounded by family, Victoria Denise Oxendine Frandock went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at approximately 6:00 a.m. at her home in Gibsonville, North Carolina. She had spent 25 days at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina before coming home to spend her remaining nine days with her beloved family and friends. The second oldest child, and only daughter, of Maxine L. Oxendine and the late Brantley Oxendine, she was born on August 19, 1964, in Lumberton, North Carolina and spent the first 22 years of her life on the family farm in the Union Chapel Community.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents John Wesley and Cortelia Oxendine, and her maternal grandparents, Willard and Pearl Locklear, a special sister, the late Rose Marie Strickland (Leon); and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She is survived by the “Lights of her Life”, her three daughters, Caroline Crews (Michael) of Lewisville, NC; Sarah Stallings (Austin) of Gibsonville, NC; and Kristen Frandock of Cary, NC; her mother Maxine L. Oxendine of Pembroke, NC; her brothers Rick Oxendine of Gibsonville, NC; Brantley Oxendine, Jr. of Pembroke, NC; and Kenneth Oxendine (Denee) of Lumberton, NC; a nephew Austin Oxendine; and a special niece Toni James (Sam); and four beautiful grandchildren Levi, Phillip, Amelia and Luke.
A lifelong lover of education, she spent most of her time learning and trying new things. She graduated from Pembroke State University (UNC-P) in 1986 with a degree in business. After graduation she moved to Greensboro and worked at Arrowhead Graphics, a family business. She later worked at Hoffman & Hoffman where she was a senior sales associate and later served as assistant to the CEO of the company. After her third child was born she became a stay at home mom but started her own highly successful Partylite business. She had a great love and compassion for children, especially those in need. She raised funds and contributed children’s supplies to daycare centers providing care to children from low income families, homeless shelters and battered women’s shelters. Above all passions and loves, however, the Creator and His church were first, then family, including immediate and extended members, and friends and community. Nothing made her happier than to have her girls, grandchildren, and all of her family together to celebrate and enjoy life. Today, while many hearts are sad and breaking, she can sing, now with perfect assurance, “There is Peace in the Valley for Me!” To this amazing woman we can now say to you your favorite expression “Love You, Mean It”. We offer our sincere appreciation to AuthoraCare Collective of Greensboro (Hospice) for their compassionate care of our beloved Victoria.
