Mrs. Vickie Darlene Locklear age 63 of Pembroke, NC, passed away Wednesday January 1, 2025, at Stanley Total Living Center. She was born March 19, 1961, in Shelby, NC.

She was preceded in death by her father James Herman Mellon, her two sisters Sharon Cody and Judy Chavis also by her special family members Mildred Sommerville and Bob Sommerville.

Mrs. Vickie Locklear is survived by her husband Sanford Jr. Locklear of Pembroke, NC, her mother Carol Caulder of Stanley, NC, daughter Tonya Webb and husband Jason Webb of Mt. Holly, NC, Jeffery Locklear and wife Sarah Locklear, Kevin Locklear and Carol Locklear. Her sister Connie Hunt and husband Dwanye Hunt, brother Kenneth Cody and Renee Bridges also her brothers Danny and Donnie Cody. 12 grandkids and 2 great-grandkids, and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to all the nurses and CNAs at Stanley Total Living Center for all the love and care provided over the years.

Vickie will be missed beyond words by her family, but we take comfort knowing she is with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and has received her crown of righteousness and forever rejoices with her creator and all her loved ones who was there to welcome her.
