Tommie Ann Jones, age 68 of Shannon, NC departed this life on November 6, 2025 to go to her heavenly home. Ms. Tommie was born to the late Murtie Locklear and Virginia Locklear.
Tommie Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Alton Jones, a daughter, Jennifer Jones, her parents, Murtie Locklear and Virginia Locklear, three sisters, Stella Locklear Woodell, Elouise Locklear, Eva Mae Locklear Hammonds, and a stepdaughter, Elizabeth Locklear Jones.
She leaves to cherish her memories one daughter April Jones Locklear, and her husband, Connelly A. Locklear, two grandchildren, Connelly A. Locklear, Jr, and Jada Locklear of the home, five brothers, James Earl Locklear, Johnnie Locklear, Gwen Locklear, Manson Locklear, Dennis Locklear, and one stepdaughter, Brenda Faye Jones.
Tommie Ann will be sorely missed by her family, church family and friends who loved her dearly. She will always be present in our memory and hearts.
