Thomas Lacy Strickland
Obituary
Thomas “Lacy” Strickland, age 85, of Maxton, NC, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on May 1, 2023. He was born in Robeson County, on March 10, 1938.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Rose Strickland and his brother, Rev. Horace Strickland.
Lacy is survived by his sister, Neva Strickland of the home; daughter, April Hunt (Troy); two granddaughters, Micaela Hunt-Hammonds (Dustin) and Skylar Lucchesi (David); one great granddaughter, Kazleigh Hammonds all of Maxton, NC; his sisters, Rosie Dial (Kelly) of Maxton, NC and Lillian Locklear of Lumberton, NC and a host of relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.
Lacy was a member of Walking by Faith Ministry Church. He loved gardening, raising red worms and his family but most of all he loved the Lord.
