Obituary
Mr. Thomas Earl Jones, 65, was born April 8th, 1958, to the late James A. Jones and Henrietta R. Jones. He died on April 28th, 2023, at UNC Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Carol Jones; three brothers, Marvin Paul Jones, James Jones Jr., and Horace Jones; and three sisters, Mildred Emanuel, Rosetta Holder, and Shelby Jean Locklear.
He is survived by two sons, Thomas Zachary Jones (James) and Thomas Branden Jones-Whitfield (Rebecca); two granddaughters, Avery, and Piper; seven sisters, Macy Jones, Mary Locklear (Eugene), Joyce Emanuel (Jessie), Sara M. Jacobs (Danny), Gladys Huggins, Teresa Autry (Larry), and Cindy Lou Bryant (Kenneth); two brothers, John Marshall Jones, and David Jones; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A special thanks to his sister Mary and brother-in-law Eugene for their continuous caregiving and support.
