Thomas Brian Acquard (TA), 57, of Lumberton, NC entered eternal peace at his home on June 12, 2016. He was born in Corfu, New York on August, 19, 1958, a son to Jerry Acquard and Pat Butler.
Tommy was married to Brenda G. Acquard (Sampson) on February 14, 1980; they were married 36 years. He was a loving husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He enjoyed riding his Heritage Softail Harley Davidson, collecting vintage and modern fire arms, and being a mechanic/truck driver. He was an employee of Reserve Equipment and had previous employment at Deese Coach Line, D&I Trucking, and Nash Finch. TA was a “Jack of All Trades!” Tommy is survived by his wife Brenda of the home, his brother-n-law Eugene Scott and wife Peggy of Lumberton; his sister-n-laws, Debra Sue Locklear, Juan Scott, Melissa Scott, and Helena Wilkins all of Lumberton.
He was preceded in death by his mother Pat Butler and brother-n-laws John L. Scott and Jerry Scott.
Tommy loved children and was a big influence in the upbringing of Tecia Stauch (spouse Albert) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Stephanie Cummings of Lumberton. He also had a special group of nieces that he was a positive role model and loved dearly; Julie Lowry of Lumberton, Harley Hunt of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Jazzlynn Fields of Lumberton.
