Terry Martin Locklear, 51, of Monroe, Georgia, entered his eternal rest on October 24, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 21, 1974, in Laurinburg, North Carolina, to Cleveland and Linda Bullard Locklear of Maxton, North Carolina.

Terry was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He found his greatest joy in spending time with his family and friends. As an avid outdoorsman, he loved fishing between the banks of a river or lake and hunting deep in the woods. His adventurous spirit, strong faith, and love for the Lord were evident in all he did and will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Terry is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Kimberly Smith Locklear; daughters Tierra Locklear and Sequoia Locklear, and sons Gaige Locklear and Kingston Locklear, all of the home, and a Special Foster Love Rionna Smith of Atlanta, GA. He also shared his heart and home with many foster children over the years, each of whom held a special place in his life.

He is also survived by his parents Cleveland and Linda Locklear of Maxton; four brothers, Terry Dean Locklear (Casondra) of Pembroke, Archie Locklear of Maxton, Marcus Locklear of Maxton, and Brandon Locklear (Stephanie) of Maxton; two sisters, Wendy Carol Jones of Pembroke and Tonia Brayboy (Eric) of Rowland; and a special aunt, Zillie Locklear, along with a host of many nephews and nieces as well as extended family and friends who will deeply miss him.

Terry’s adventurous legacy, unwavering faith, and boundless love will forever remain a guiding light to those blessed to have known him.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to Scotland Regional Hospice for their dedication and commitment for taking care of their loved one.
