Tammy Lee Chavis, 50 of 2642 Deep Branch Road, Lumberton, NC departed her earthly home on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 and will be remembered by all for her loving and compassionate heart.

Tammy was born to Mr. David and Mrs. Audrey Chavis on August 20, 1975. She was preceded in death by her father Mr. David Wesley Chavis, as well as her grandparents Mr. Warren and Mrs. Cattie Sampson as well as Mr. Frank and Mrs. Ellen Chavis. She is survived by her loving mother, Mrs. Audrey Chavis; a special friend Ms. Rebecca; her sister, Mrs. Edie Locklear (Ricky) of Mooresville, NC; her brother Mr. Jamie Chavis (Mary) of Holden Beach, NC. Her nieces and nephews - Bonnie Conner (Daniel) of Chapel Hill, NC, Ashton Dugan (Marshall) of Mooresville, NC, John Locklear of Mooresville, NC; Chenora Scott (Jerid) of Rowland NC, David Chavis (Halle) of Four Oaks, NC, and Makia Chavis of Holden Beach, NC as well as her special relationships with – Olin Dial, Raylan Scott, Jack Scott, and Mia Scott.

The family would like to acknowledge and thank each and every one of you for the love you have shown Tammy over the years, as she was loved by many.
