Mr. Steven Lawrence Walters, age 59, of Lumberton, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at his home. He was born on December 21, 1965 in Robeson County to the late James Preston Walters, Sr, and Mona Summers Walters.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 40 years, Loretta Walters, his mother, Mona Summers, a son, Stevie Pittman (Carmon) of Lumberton, two daughters, Jennifer Walters (Russell), Heather Walters (Trey), three brothers, Preston, Michael, Benjie, three sisters, Pam, June, and Debbie, three nieces, Kyler, Lydia, and one great niece, Ophelia, nine grandchildren, Ethan, Hailey, Brenna, Savannah, Thomas, Cambria, Trishon, Tyler, Preston Zeba, one very special friend, Jackie Thompson and a host of friends and family.
Steven loved to deer hunt and fish. He was always willing to help anyway he could. He loved his wife, children and grandchildren.
