Stanley Hardin

Stanley Rudolph Hardin, 85, of Lumberton, NC born in Robeson County on May 7th, 1935 to the late Gus Hardin and Lillie Speights Hardin. Stanley passed away peacefully on Monday, March 1st, 2021 at Lumberton Health and Rehab.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Carrie Tilley; also his wife, Helen Musselwhite Hardin; and his son, Robert Hardin.

He is survived by his four children, Ricky Hardin of the home, Carolyn Carter of Lumberton, Stanley Hardin Jr. of Lumberton, Jimmy Hardin (Rhonda) of Lumberton and a adopted son, Walker “Shane” Britt of Lumberton; three grandchildren, Tonya Freeman of Lumberton, Krystal Miller of SC, Brandon Stephens of Lumberton; four great- grandchildren, Dakota Freeman of Lumberton, Tyler Jackson and Kay Kay Jackson of SC, Zachery Miller of SC; five great-great grandchildren all of SC; three brothers, Frank Hardin of New Bern, NC., Jack Hardin of Lumberton, W.H Hardin of Lumberton; one sister, Shirley Miller of Lumberton; and a host of nieces & nephews whom he loved dearly; also a loving puppy, Bouncy.
