Shirley Jones, 85, of Lumberton departed this life on December 28, 2025 at UNC Health Southeastern Hospital. She was born May 21, 1940 to Wilton and Nella Brewer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilton and Nella Brewer, a sister, Barbara Simpson, a brother, Roger Brewer, and husband Martin Jones.
She was a loving mother, wife, sister and grandmother.
She is survived by one son, Danny Lee Scott of Lumberton, NC, and one grandchild, Kéya Leigh Cummings, two sisters, Stella B. Shumate (Kenneth), and Wanda B. Demery, four brothers, Darnell Brewer, Wilton Brewer, Johnny Brewer (Karen), and Jimmy Brewer (Elaine).
