Mrs. Sara Brewington Scott, departed her earthly home on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at the age of 91 and entered her heavenly home surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Scott was born in Robeson County on September 4, 1933. Mrs. Sara was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a proud employee of Robeson County Social Security for 34 years. She had a passion for helping others. She was a devoted member of Deep Branch Baptist Church.

Mrs. Sara was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Earl Scott, her daughter, Ms. Ida Marie Scott, her mother, Lillie Mae Brewington and her father, Mr. Clyde Brewington.

She is survived by her sister, Mrs. Myrtle Rexroat of Florida, her brother, Hardy Lee Brewington of Lumberton, and a host of relatives and friends.
