Mrs. Sandra Kay Jacobs was born on September 3, 1962, in Robeson County, North Carolina. She departed this life on July 3, 2026, at the age of 63.

Sandra worked for many years at The Golden Comb in Pembroke, North Carolina, where she dedicated herself to serving others before her retirement. She was a loving mother, grandmother, family member, and friend whose greatest joy came from spending time with those she loved. She especially cherished her beloved dog, BB, who held a special place in her heart.

A woman of strong faith, Sandra enjoyed daily Bible study and was a devoted member of Victory in Christ Ministries USA. In her spare time, she enjoyed coloring, completing word searches, watching her favorite television shows, and caring for the animals she loved. If she was not spending time with family or enjoying her hobbies, she could often be found outdoors feeding and tending to the animals that brought her so much happiness.

Sandra was preceded in death by her father, Amos Jacobs; seven sisters and four brothers.

Ms. Jacobs is survived by her mother Sudie Mae Jacobs, her loving children Rebecca Jacobs-Lopez, Emilee Kay Jacobs, and Jonathan Jacobs, grandkids, Ilana Moser, Laura Moser, Oliver Lopez, AnaMaria Lopez, Marcel Lopez, Metteo Lopez, Penelope Kaye Brayboy, Joseph Enapay Brayboy, Samuel Locke Brayboy, and Ricky Issac Brayboy, great grandkids, Mason V. Moser, Jaxson Richard, Arrow Richard, Carrington Chavis, Elias Santos Granados, and Ayla Marie Granados.

The family would also like to extend a special thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff at UNC Health⁠ for the excellent and compassionate care they provided to Sandra. Their dedication, professionalism, and kindness will always be remembered and deeply appreciated.
