Sandra Hursey, 76, of Lumberton, NC departed this life on October 05, 2025, at her home. Mama Sandra was born on March 06, 1949, in Robeson County.

Sandra was preceded in death by her mother, Lula Agnes Musslewhite Smith, her father Joseph Bradley Smith, her brother Robert Allen Smith, and her son, Brian Keith Hursey.

Sandra's favorite pastimes were reading, fishing, music and focusing as much time, energy and love on her grandchildren as she possibly could. Sandra served her community as a registered nurse for more than 40 years.

Sandra leaves behind to cherish her memories, her daughter, Renee Auten, son in law, Ty Auten, grandchildren, Blair Kirby, Ayden Auten, Dalton Auten, great grandchildren Asher and Greyson, sister, Alice Meares, sister-in-law, Patricia Rozier and Myra Barwick, nieces Debbie Parker, Michelle Floyd and Robin Meares, and special friend, Donnie Britt.
