Sally Ann Bass, 57, passed away, Thursday, October 23, 2025 due to multiple health conditions. Sally was born on March 28, 1970 in Lumberton, NC. A daughter of the late Linburg Jones and Janie Chavis, she was a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, friend, and Ma to many.
Preceded in death by her son James Taylor, brother, John Willie Jones, grandmother, Dorothy Barton, and Aunt Cleo Locklear.
Sally leaves behind to cherish her memories a daughter, Jennifer Jones, grandsons, Jayden and Jaylen Kennedy, granddaughter, Jovi Jones, brothers, Lynn Barton and Faye Chavis, Stewart and Ginger Jones, one sister, Suzanna Barton, Jimmy Jones and the late Pearly Leake, nephews, Randoff Lilley, Antonio and Jennifer Lilley, Caleb Jones, Christian and Ronan Lilley, her extended family: mother-in-law, Louise Charles, and Michael Charles, special friends, Gail Sampson, Hope Davis Family, Wilmington Family and the Premiere and Rose House Family.
