Rosie Lowery Obituary
Mrs. Rosie Mae Lowery of the Saddletree Community departed this life Saturday June 27, 2020 making her journey of eighty years.
She retired from converse for many years of dedication and hard work. She professed her love for Jehovah, and was baptized as a Jehovah witness at an early age. She remained a dedicated and loyal servant of our heavenly father her faith and love for Jehovah sustained her and her family with the promise of everlasting life in paradise.
Mrs. Rosie Lowery was married to the late Purdy Lowery with five children born into this union. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Ellen and Beasley Locklear; her sister, Janie Grant; and both of her loving sons, Billy and June Lowery.
Mrs. Lowery is survived by her four sisters; three daughters, Gomer and Jerry Chavis of Jacksonville, NC, Becky and Peter Van Natten of Anchorage, AK, and Ella Rose and Roderick Deese of the home place. She was blessed with grandchildren and great grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
