Ms. Rosie Lee Hammonds (Little Bit) 75, of 5077 Elrod rd. Rowland born April 16, 1950, to the late Bertha O. Jacobs, Stepdad Lacy Jacobs, and Dad Joseph (Two Peas) Deese. She departed her earthly home on Tuesday December 30, 2025. Ms. Rosie Lee Hammonds is proceeded in death by her husband Freddie Lee Hammonds, two brothers Tony Deese and Donald Deese.

Ms. Hammonds leaves her memory to cherish by her children one daughter Ms. Windy Strickland (Timmy Strickland) of the home, one son John Hammonds (Shane Marshall Hammonds) of Rowland N.C, two special nephews(sons) Sidney William Oxendine and Stoney Locklear; one special niece (daughter) Dawn Locklear Strong. She leaves four sisters: Vergie (Charles) Locklear of Rowland NC, Mary Jo Sampson of Rockingham NC, Laura Deese of Wagram NC, Sandra Locklear of Maxton NC. She is also survived by one sister-in-law Margaret Norton of Lumberton NC.; and a cousin Cherry Barton (Ricky) of Pembroke, NC. She leaves eight grandchildren, Ms. Mindy Strickland, Kris Locklear, Mr. Timothy Strickland, Ms. Kira Strickland, Ms. Kristen Lowry, Ms. Katlyn Hammonds, Mr. Tyler Marshall, Mr. Dustin (Micaela) Hammonds, Mr. Eli Hammonds all of Rowland NC; 17 great grandchildren Haileyana, Mariana, Julieana, Praysliana (Ana Strickland), Aubriella (Audroanna Lowry) TyHaveon, TyMari, Tyleel, Kyrinidy, Kyrinsley, Kaiden, John Kelly, Zaxton, Ashton, Ayven, Addison, Kazleigh; 2 puppies Stitch and Iris; and a host of family and friends.
