In his spare time, he loved to work with his hands, watching sports, and spending time with his family. He truly made a lasting impression on everyone that he encountered.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife of 27 years, Charlene Locklear of the home and a son who he loved dearly, LaRon Locklear of Morrisville, NC. He was a loving brother to his sister, Rhonda Locklear, and his nieces of Bennettsvile, SC. He was a devoted brother-in-law to Derrick Hunt (Amy) of Maxton and Patrick Hunt (Lucinda) of Orrum. Also, he is remembered by his mother-in-law and father-in-law Marie and Vinson Hunt of Fairmont. He is also survived by his friend who was like a brother, Paul Haywood. Lastly, he will be remembered by his neighbors, the Five Forks community, and a host of family and friends.
