Robin Hope Blount, a devoted mother, grandmother, and pillar of strength, passed away on April 1, 2025, at the age of 86. She was a woman of resilience and unwavering love, raising her four daughters single-handedly after the passing of her beloved husband, John Blount. Through every challenge, she instilled in her children and grandchildren the values of courage, perseverance, and kindness.

Her love for nature was evident in her passion for gardening, where she found peace and joy in nurturing life. She had an adventurous spirit, always eager to travel and explore the world around her. Deeply engaged in politics, she believed in the power of knowledge and advocacy, inspiring those around her to stay informed and stand up for their beliefs.

Robin leaves behind a legacy of love, wisdom, and strength in her daughters, Heather Blount (Joe), Amber Estela, Denise Dodson (Rob), a son-in-law, David Rice, Grandchildren, Kathirya, Robin, Meagan, Morgan, LeAndra, Robbie, Daphne, Nathan, Vance, Raymond, 15 great grandchildren, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Robin was preceded by her parents, Francis and Virginia Lyon, Lifelong partner Milton Fields, daughter, Wren Virginia Rice, three siblings, Bette Berrett, Ann Kirby, Dennis Lyon, grandsons, David Joel Rice (DJ) and Jon Kurtis Dodson and great granddaughter, Olivia Mauney.

Her memory will live on in the blooming flowers of her garden, the places she visited and the lives she touched.
