Robert Lawrence Rodriguez Jr. (Chellie), 44, of Lumberton went to be with his heavenly father on Monday, October 28, 2019 at UNC Chapel Hill.
Robert was born January 20, 1975 in Cumberland County.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Joyce and Bessie Jacobs. His aunts Betty Jacobs, Gloria Jacobs and Cheryline Jacobs; his uncle, Tony Rodriguez; his father in Laws, Kenneth Locklear and Roger Maynor; and his step father, Truman Lovette.
He was self-employed doing paint and body work, dedicated worker with Mitchell’s Towing and Recovery Service and Jones Automotive. He was loved by so many and will be missed by all.
Robert is survived by his loving wife Michelle Locklear Rodriguez and three children Justin Blake Rodriguez, Chasity Lakia Rodriguez of the home and Sierra Cheyenne Berry of Lumberton NC; and a granddaughter, Levi Shay Carter of Lumberton NC; his mother, Barbara Anne Rodriguez; his father, Robert Lawrence Rodriguez of Colorado; paternal grandparents, Danial and Ysela Rodeiguez of New Mexico; a brother, Richard Deshane Jcobs (Robbie) of Lumberton NC; a sister, Jessica Rodriguez of Chicago; mother in law, Rochelle Locklear Maynor of Lumberton and two brother in laws, Chris (Amy) and Kenneth Locklear of Lumberton, NC.
