Rev. Roger Strickland was born September 6, 1952 to Jimmy and Marcella Strickland in Lumberton, NC. He departed this life on May 11, 2026 in the comfort of his home.
His is preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy and Marcella Strickland, his loving wife, Regina, a daughter, Marlena and a son, Eric.
Roger was a 1972 graduate of Lumberton High School. He was a pastor for many years touching the lives of those he came in contact with. In his spare time he enjoyed visiting with friends and family and spending time with his grandkids. He was a former employee of DSD Warehouse Sales.
He is survived by his two sons, Raymond (Corey) of Lumberton, and Jamie of Grove City, Ohio, three grandsons, Bradley, Jacob and James, three granddaughters, Torey, Clara, and Zoe, two brothers, Ronald Keith Strickland of Lumberton, and Rickie Strickland of Garner, and two sisters, Susan (Ron), and Patricia (Ralph) both of Lumberton.
