Raymond Bartley

Raymond Ranford Bartley affectionakly known as “Chief” 47, of Orrum, NC was born on April 13, 1974. He entered into eternal rest on September 25, 2021. Raymond was the owner and operator of Bartley’s Drywall. Raymond enjoyed watching sports, cooking on the grill and working in his yard.

   He was preceded in death by his son, Antonio Devon Hunt; a sister, Carolina Bartley; an adopted son, Nathan Johnson; his father, James Elbert Bartley; paternal grandparents, Raymond Bartley and Bertha Nance; maternal grandparents, Ranford and Pearlie Oxendine.

   Raymond leaves to cherish his memories, a son, Goliath Raymond Hunt (Maya) of Orrum, NC; two daughters, Shalanda Hunt of Orrum, NC and Raven Bartley of the home; his mother, Letha Bartley of Orrum, NC; two granddaughters, Paris Townsend and Railey Hunt; two brothers, Bill Bartley (Martha) of Lumberton, NC and James Ray Bartley, Lumberton, NC; two sisters, Nancy Oxendine (Tom) of Orrum, NC and Wanda Hunt of Pembroke, NC; the mother of his oldest children, Tawanda Hunt of Orrum, NC; two adopted sons, Curtis McLellan of the home and Joshua Johnson of Orrum, NC; best friends, Brandon Love and Doug Floyd; and a host of relatives and friends.
