Raylan West

Raylan Gregory West, 16, of Pembroke, NC, was born in Robeson County on August 10, 2006, to Jamie Lynn Britt and Steven Ray West. Raylan departed his life here on earth May 23rd, 2023. Raylan’s smile and goofiness made him so unforgettable to many people.

Raylan was preceded in death by his brother, Talan West; his stepfather, Allen Britt Jr.; a lifelong friend, Quadrique Butler; his maternal grandmother, Nancy Wright; his paternal grandfather, Richard West; his maternal great-grandmother, Myrtle Devane; an uncle, Mitchell West; and a beloved great aunt, Betty Barnes of whom was Raylan’s world.

Raylan leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Jamie Lynn Britt of the home; his father, Steven Ray West of Lumberton; four brothers, Blaze Walters and Jaylan West of Pembroke, Steven “Mookie” West (Isabella) and Austin Stone (Lindsey) of Lumberton; two sisters, Kirsten West of Pembroke and Abbie West (Cole) of Lumberton; maternal grandfather, Gregory Wright of Lumberton; paternal grandmother, Judy West of Pembroke; two uncles, J.C. Grant and Dewayne West; three aunts, Tiffany Jackson (Chris), Brittany Carnes, and Angela West Garcia; five nieces and three nephews; and a special stepbrother, Allen Britt III.
