Raebeard Locklear passed away peacefully on December 17th, 2025, surrounded by love.

Raebeard was a true man of God, a faithful servant of the Lord, and lived his life guided by the values of love, kindness, and humility. He was a devoted father, a proud grandfather, a caring uncle, and a cherished friend who touched the lives of everyone he knew. We all loved laughing with him and talking about the good ole days and hearing him testify and sing worship songs. He loved to care for things using his hands such as raising fresh vegetables, growing flowers, maintaining a beautiful yard, fixing cars, and doing things around his home. He trusted in God’s promises and found strength in prayer, family, and fellowship. His steady presence and gentle spirit reflected his deep love for Christ. Though he will be greatly missed, we take comfort in knowing he is now at peace and resting in the arms of his Lord and Savior.

Raebeard is survived by his three daughters, Tonya Locklear, Victoria Locklear, Claudia Isom, spouse Shannon Isom, son Jimothy Locklear, and his spouse Jennifer Locklear, his three grandchildren, Chloe Locklear, Maddux Locklear, and Aubrie Locklear, and his sister Hattie Sanderson.

His legacy of faith, love, and wisdom will live on through the lives he touched. We will forever cherish and love you, Deddy, Papa, Uncle, Brother, and a friend to all.
