Mrs. Peggy Jane Hunt, 72 died on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at UNC Southeastern. She was born on October 7, 1952 to the late Alva and Florence Hunt of Robeson County.

Peggy was an avid lover of flea market outings, looking for antique treasures. Peggy read the entire Bible on multiple occasions. Her love for God and His word was shared with everyone she came in contact with. God was her greatest joy in life.

She is preceded in death by her parents Alva and Florence Hunt, four brothers, Crayton Hunt, RD Hunt, both of Fairmont, James Hunt, and Alva Hunt, both of Rowland.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Johnny Hunt of Fairmont, her only son Bobby Jr., (Brandy) of Pembroke, two brothers, Lenwood Hunt, and Bobby Hunt both of Lumberton, her granddaughters, Megan, Madison, and Jordyn Hunt of Lumberton, a very special friend Betty West (Charlotte), and a host of family and friends who loved her dearly.
