Mrs. Paula A. Hammonds age 57 of Rowland, NC was born October 10, 1963 to Mr. Wesley H. Fields and the late Mrs. Curline Fields. Mrs. Paula passed away Monday, April 1, 2021 at the Reid Heart Center, First Health Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, NC surrounded by her loved ones.
Mrs. Paula was a quiet, kind, and humble person. She enjoyed crafting and spending time with her family.
Along with her mother, Mrs. Paula was preceded in death by three brothers, Larry Locklear, Tony Locklear and Wendell Fields; and one sister, Endora Fields.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Michael Hammonds; one daughter, Candice Maynor (Derrick) of Shannon, NC; one son, Kent Smith Jr. (Morgan) of Maxton, NC; one granddaughter, Ashley Maynor; three grandsons, Rylan and Braylen Maynor and John Landan Locklear; one sister, Marcella Fields of Holden Beach, NC; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
