Ronald Barnes, son of Hattie Mae Barnes and the late Carlton Barnes, was born on December 16th, 1950 in Lumberton, North Carolina. He departed this Earth on October 21st, 2022 at Mcleod Hospital in Florence, South Carolina.
Ronald was preceded in death by his father, Carlton Barnes. He is survived by his mother, Hattie Mae Barnes; sister, Connie Taylor and husband Roger Taylor; brother, Verlyn Barnes and wife Karen Ann Barnes; three daughters, Kimberly Michelle Barnes, Andrea Nicole Frost and husband Henry Allen Frost I, Crystal Marie Pearson and husband Andrew Ethan Pearson; eight grandchildren, Andrew Alan Frost, Joshua Michael Frost, Dylan Alexander Frost, Noah Winthrop Frost, Ryan Nelson Driscoll, Emma Elizabeth Barnes, Victoria Ashley Pearson and Desmond Ethan Pearson; one great-grandchild, Jeremiah James Driscoll; and a host of family and friends.
Ronald was an amazing father, grandfather, great-grandfather, Brother, Pastor and friend. Pastor Ron was the founder of Greater Hope International Church as well as a dynamic nonprofit with a global outreach. Pastor Ron was a true representation of the love of Jesus Christ.
