Mr. Cleveland Lane Lewis of Lumberton NC, departed his life on May 17, 2026. He was born May 21, 1956 to Artie Mae and Lawrence Lewis.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Jacobs, his brothers, George Lewis, and Lawrence Lewis, Jr., a grandson, Josiah Grayhorse and two angel grandbabies.

Mr. Cleveland faithfully served as Pastor of East Maxton Church of God for 14 years and was a devoted member of Riverside Church of God for over 30 years. He worked for the City of Lumberton before following his vision of becoming a business owner and founder of Lewis Construction.

He is survived by his wife Annie Carol Lewis and sister, Carrie Mae, daughters, Latasha ”Cotton“  Whitcraft,  her husband (Mike), Sophia “Phil” Chavis, sons, Jonathan “Ears“ Lewis, his wife (Katherine), Steven “Porky“ Lewis, ten grandchildren, Christian “Cletus“, Julianna “JuJu “,  Adrianna "Little Maynor”, Brianna “Nina“,  Kasiyah “Mook “, Lily “Bobble“, Daisy “Pebbles“, Landon “Scooter “, Jasmine “Jazz”, Jade “Porkchop“ and three grandpuppies, Oscar, Harley, Max  and one great granddaughter,  Anna’  Maria and a host of nieces and nephews and close friends.
