Pandora Scott Stancil, age 58, went to her heavenly home Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at SECU Hospice in Smithfield, North Carolina with her family by her side.
Pandora was born in Robeson County on January 17, 1967 to the late Jim Scott and the late Dorothy Jacobs Scott. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Lynn Scott; two nephews, Edwin Gabriel Sampson and Joshua Lee Scott.
She attended Wilsons Mills Church of God. Pandora gave her heart to the Lord and enjoyed going to church and worshipping her Savior. Her faith, son, brothers and sisters were the foundation of her life.
Pandora had a passion for life. She never met a stranger and if you ever met her you would never forget her. She was very outspoken, independent and an opinionated Lady. She had the heart of a lion when it came to her family and she will be missed by us all.
She is survived by her son, Jim Austin Scott of Smithfield, NC, her brothers, Larry Martin Scot and Pryor Osborne Scott, sisters, Monnie Hunt (Bishop Clyde), Gwen Revels (Wesley), Penelope Hardin (Wayne), Dale Scott, Lori Carter (John), nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
