Minnie Holmes Obituary
Mrs. Minnie Frances Holmes, 95, of Michigan passed away Saturday December 8, 2018.
She was born March. 26, 1923 in Robeson County a daughter of the late Newton Sampson and Vienna Strickland Sampson and is preceded in death by her husband Hansel Holmes; six brothers, Stenison Sampson, Mark Sampson, James Newton Sampson, David Sampson, Grady Cole Sampson, Erwin Sampson; four sisters, Verla B. Mancini, Monnie Gray, Ancie Dale McDowell, Patricia Mileslo and Lillian Grashaw.
She is survived by six sons, Ken Holmes, Johnny Holmes, Larry Holmes, Samuel Holmes, Rickey Holmes all of Michigan and Michael Holmes of Tennessee; two daughter, Shirley Benore and Patty (Vern) Habner of Tennessee; eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
