Michael McCartney Obituary
Michael Lee McCartney, 36, departed this life on April 22, 2025 at Scotland Memorial Hospital.
Michael was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Iris Locklear, and Harley McCartney, and his maternal grandparents, Alma Locklear, and Doyle "Buck" Locklear.
He leaves to cherish his memories, three children, Shawn Michael, Cainean Kash, and Akira, father, Michael Patrick McCartney, mother, Cam Locklear McCartney, brother, Patrick McCartney and his wife Jada, nieces, Liliana, Madalynn, Paxton, Peyton, and Isabella.
Michael loved baseball, talking with his friends, playing with his kids, and spending time with family. Michaels' favorite team was NC Tarheels. Michael worked as a maintenance employee at the Holiday Inn Express in Lumberton, NC.
Michael will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
