Melton Lowery Obituary
Mr. Melton Lowery, 72, of Lumberton, NC, was born on Tuesday, March 27, 1951 to Mrs. Verona Jackson and the late Charlie Lowry. He departed this life on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at his home.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Lowry; his brothers, Angelo Lowry and Villie Lowry and the mother of his children, Barbara Jean Dimery.
Mr. Melton leaves to cherish his memories, son, Angelo M. Lowery (Selena) of Pembroke, NC; one daughter, Tonya W. Lowery of Fabius, NY; son, Deaton Tate Lowery of Syracuse, NY; his mother, Verona Jackson; one brother, Gregory Lowry of Lumberton, NC; three sisters, Sandrah Lowry of Rocky Mount, NC, Cynthia Chavis (Mark) of Lumberton, NC, and Angela Flores (Hector) of Rocky Mount, NC; four grandchildren, Aaliyah M. Lowery, Clover N. Eastman, Bella Rayne Lowery and Taylor Brooke Scott; two great grandchildren, Leelani Jean Oxendine and Lukas Reed Locklear as well as a host of family and friends.
