Mrs. Melissa Branch, 55, of Lumberton, NC departed this life Friday, October 10th. 2025, at UNC Health Southeastern. She was born May 6th, 1970, in Robeson County, NC. She was a Teacher Assistant at Long Branch Elementary School for many years.
She was preceded in death by her father, RJ Oxendine, paternal grandparents, Arber and Pearlie Oxendine, maternal grandmother, Betty Jacobs, three brothers, Roy Chavis, Graylen Chavis, and Richard Chavis, and one sister Pearline Oxendine.
She is survived by her husband, Danny Morris Branch of the home; two sons, Justin M. Branch, Kasdan A. Branch, her mother, Lay Ruth Oxendine, one brother, RJ Oxendine (Deborah), two sisters Cynthia Nealand (Raymond), and Sue Jones, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
