Mavis J. Ivey of 252 Gardner Dr. Lumberton, NC was born March 22, 1939.
Mrs. Ivey passed away at her home on Friday August 7, 2020 at the age of 81, surrounded by family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ervin Buck Jackson and Rosa Bella Jackson; her husband, Charles Calvin Ivey; two daughters, Annette Ivey Britt and Judith Lynn Ivey; and two sisters, Annie Rose Davis and Elizabeth Baddorf.
Mrs. Ivey was so full of life and joy. She never met a stranger and loved & cared for everybody. She was an extraordinary woman.
She leaves to cherish her memories one son, Wayne and wife Annie Ivey of Lumberton; one daughter, Debbie and husband Jimmy West of the home. She has eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
