Matthew McIntyre Obituary

Matthew Stewart McIntyre, 42, from Lumberton, NC, passed away on June 15, 2026.

Matthew was the beloved son of Stewart McIntyre and Charlene McIntyre, the loving father of Madison McIntyre, and the cherished brother of Megan Bailey and nephews James, Jackson, and Jesse. He deeply valued his family and the relationships he built throughout his life.

Matthew was known for his outgoing personality, quick sense of humor, and ability to make friends wherever he went. He had a way of making people feel welcome and could bring laughter to almost any situation. His kindness, friendliness, and memorable personality left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Matthew will be remembered for the joy he brought to others, the friendships he formed, and the love he shared with his family. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

He'll be "forever fishing on the big lake."

The family will be receiving friends and family at the home of Charlene and Stewart McIntyre, on Saturday, June 20th, from two o'clock to four o'clock.
