Mary Jacobs Obituary
Mrs. Mary Sue Jacobs of Pembroke was born March 4th, 1959, to the late Aletha Tyner. Mary Sue completed her journey of 65 years on April 3rd, 2024. In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by two brothers: Mr. Alglenn Tyner and Steven Tyner, three sisters: Rebecca Locklear, Cinder Lewis and Thelma Harrison, a special great-granddaughter, La’miyah Mia.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories: her husband of 24 years, Roger Jacobs of the home, and two daughters: Penny Locklear (Kitrick) and Betty Locklear (Shawn) both of Lumberton, two brothers: Terry Tyner (Barbara) and Jackie Dean Tyner both of Pembroke, three sisters: Martha Dial and Mary Tyner both of Pembroke, Alfreda Rosie Tyner of Raleigh, seven grandchildren: Austin Brewington (Harlie), Daniel Brewington (Tanisha), Tisha Locklear, Preston Taylor, Donta Locklear, Star Fantos (Austin) and Emily Jones, eleven great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
