Ms. Mary Lou Locklear Jacobs, 86, of Shannon Rd. Lumberton went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday July 4, 2021. She was born February 1, 1935.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mattie L. Cummings; her father, Luther Locklear; her husband, Elbert Jacobs; a daughter, Audrey J. Jacobs; six brother, Grady, Willie Frank, James Earl, Roy Hilton, Luther Jr., and Percell; 2 sisters, Annie Ruth Thomas and Clara Mae Locklear.
Ms. Mary is survived by her daughter, Angela Jacobs; a son, Randy E. Jacobs; four grandchildren, Natasha R. Jacobs, Ethan C. Jacobs, Mary Margaret Jacobs, and Donnie C. Jacobs; six great-grandchildren, Candice, Cheyene, Hayleigh, Garrison C., and Harper Jane; four great great-grandchildren, Kaeden, Kensley, Kenston, and Zaydon; a brother David Lee Locklear of Maryland; a sister, Betty Lois Locklear Hayes of Lumberton; and a multitude of nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.
