Marshel was preceded in death by his parents, Cleveland and Mary Jane Locklear, five brothers, Bobby Locklear, David Earl Locklear, Cleveland Locklear, Jr., Gregory Locklear, and Ted Locklear, two sisters, Barbara Faye Locklear, and Katie Lee Boger.
Marshel is survived by his wife, Nettie Jones Locklear, son, Cody Lee Locklear of the home, two daughters, Mary Lea Keaton (Kenneth), and Bethany Ann Jones, one sister, Sandra Hunt (Gary), four grandchildren, Christopher, Heather, Hope, and Faith Locklear, many nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.
