Marlin Hunt Obituary
Marlin Daniel Hunt of Lumberton, NC. was born February 25th, 1972 to the late, Martin Hunt of Rowland, NC and Linda Hunt of Pembroke, NC. Marlin departed this life on February 28th, 2021 at UNC Health Southeastern at the age of 49.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Broncie and Maude Cummings; and his paternal grandparents, James and Nancy Hunt.
Marlin was employed with Deese’s Draywall for 16 years.
Marlin leaves behind his wife of 30 years, Lillie J. Hunt; one daughter, Marlita Danielle Hunt and husband, Earl Woods of the home; and one son, Matthias Hunt. In addition he leaves behind two sisters, Nikki H. Jones (Thad Jones) and Marlana Oxendine (Carlie Oxendine); five nieces, a cherished uncle, Gregory Cummings; and a beloved cousin, Marshonda Locklear; a special friend, Jennie Ann Woods; and a host of relatives and friends.
