Obituary
On Friday, August 25th, 2023, Mariah Ciera Wright departed this earthly life at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC at the age of 29. She was born on May 11th, 1994, to Gordon & Michelle Wright.
Mariah attended Lumberton Senior High School. Mariah never met a stranger. Those dimples made people relax. Her charming personality could make you feel like you were the only person in the world when she engaged you.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert & Addie McDonald; two aunts, Carolyn Stocks & Lizzie McDonald; and her twin sister, Andrea Wright whom she absolutely adored. Their bond was unbreakable, and now they’re resting in peace together.
She is survived by her parents, Gordon & Michelle Wright; two daughters, Alyssa & Hunter Wright; three brothers, Cory Wright, Tyler Wright both of Lumberton, and Marcus (Shawana) Wright of Jacksonville, NC; two aunts, Tonya (Jimmy) Baxley and Jannifer (Alexander) Drayton, both of Lumberton; three uncles, Robert (Rosa) McDonald of Lexington, SC, James (Barbara) McDonald and Ronald (Tamika) McDonald of Lumberton; five nieces; two nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
