Mannix Eddings Obituary

On January 2, 1971, God loaned a beautiful baby boy to Samuel and Dorothy Eddings. They gave their baby the name, Mannix Eddings. Dorothy cared and provided for Mannix until God called him home October 24th, 2025. Mannix was preceded in death by his biological father, Mr. Samuel Eddings. Also waiting to welcome Mannix to his eternal home was his stepfather, Mickey Otten and his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Datry Hammonds (Elsie).

Mannix has left us so soon and unexpectedly that we are left with only broken hearts and memories. His mama, Dorothy Otten, will always carry Mannix within her heart. His Aunt Mildred Harris loved Mannix as her own son so he respectfully called her "Ma." Mannix was so proud of his son Mick Cummings (Devan) and his grandkids; Londyn, Marley, Madden, Angel and Piper. They could light up his life like nothing else could. Mannix leaves a little brother, Brice Collins and he was a big brother to Nicholas and Ryan Otten. If Mannix could leave us a message we think he would say; Put God first in your life, Love and respect your family, Stay ready to meet God he could come at any moment.

Thank you all for the support, prayers and kind words you have shown the family during our time of grieving.
