Lummie Jacobs

Mrs. Lummie Jacobs, 76, of 7188 7th street road Lumberton went to be with the Lord on June 29th, 2020.

   Mrs. Jacobs was born in Robeson County to the late Henry and Ruby Swett Hunt.

   She was preceded in death by her parents a son, Timothy Jacobs; four sisters, Macy Jones, Frances Hunt, Zelma Anderson and Velma Locklear; one brother, Roger Hunt.

   Mrs. Lummie leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, R.C Jacobs; a daughter, Mary Ann Jacobs of the home; a son, Sammy (Jamie) of Lumberton; three granddaughters, Chasity (Jeremy), Alexia (Clay) and Angelicia; two grandsons, Randall (Amber) and Shane; a daughter in lawn Teresa (Bryan) all of Lumberton; five great grandchildren, Keylan, Ayden, Bricyn, Chloe and Samuel; two sisters, Annie Hunt and Letha Hammonds (Daniel); three brothers, Rev. John David Hunt, Henry Hunt (Rebecca) and Rufus Hunt (Lora Ann); as well as many nieces and nephews she loved dearly.

   She enjoyed fishing, camping and trips to the beach with family. She was loved by her family as much as she loved them.

   We, the family of Mrs. Lummie Jacobs would like to express our sincere gratitude and heartfelt thanks for your prayers and support during this very difficult time for our family. We sincerely appreciate your sentiments of love.
