Loretta Harris

Ms. Loretta Harris “BIG LO”, 59 of 2584 Locklear road was born on December 17, 1960 and departed her life on Monday, November 30, 2020 survived by her family and loved ones. Loretta will surely be missed for her generosity, hospitality, sweet spirit and her smile that lit up any room she entered. To know her was to love her. She was truly one of a kind.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Datrie (Elsie) Hammonds & Mr. & Mrs. Johnnie (Flora) Harris. Her brother, Paul Duckery Harris and a nephew, Master Stephan Walter Locklear Jr. (Lil’ Buddy).

Ms. Loretta leaves to cherish and carry her memory on, one daughter, Harley Renee Locklear & Special Friend, Paul Locklear of Red Springs NC. Her mother, Mildred Harris of Pembroke, Nc. Her father, James Harris & Stepmom Sylvia Harris of Lumberton NC. Two brothers, Frankie Harris of Pembroke, NC & Mr. & Mrs. Robert (Bobbie) Hammonds of Shannon NC. One sister Paula Harris Locklear of Cherry Grove SC and her stepsister, Sonya Chavis of Florence SC. Her most precious gifts, her grandchildren, Holden, Lakota & Roger (Brice) Collins. Five Nieces, Four great nieces, Seven Nephews, Six Great-Nephews and one special Niece (Jacinda Kyleigha Smith). Her Best Friend & Whole World, Howard Ray. Loretta is also survived by a host of family,  friends and loved ones.
