Lisa Kay Hunt, 57, of 2733 Missouri Road, Maxton, NC, was born on December 29, 1967 to Diane Hunt and the late Charles Lewis. Lisa Kay went home to be with our heavenly Father on Thursday evening, October 23, 2025.

Lisa Kay was preceded in death by her grandmother, Bulah Lee Hunt and grandfather, Willie Oscar Hunt, along with her nephew, Austin Williams.

She is survived by her daughter, Tara Carter (Tommy “TC”), son, Adrian Carter (Elleree), all of Lumberton, NC, a special friend, Hoss Locklear of the home, her mother, Diane Hunt of Lumberton, NC, step-father, Ricky Hunt, sister Jacqueline Hunt of Lumberton, NC, sister, Vicky Barton of Rowland, NC, sister, Shannon Hunt, Kim Hunt of Lumberton, NC, brother, Matthew Deese of Lumberton, NC, two granddaughters, Taliha and Harper Chavis who she loved dearly, two grandsons, Kentston, and Alton Carter, four nephews, Joshua, Christopher, Dustin and KJ, two nieces, Amanda and Allie, along with a host of family and friends.
