Linda G. Byrd, 74, of Lumberton, NC departed this life on April 25, 2025, at Valley Hospice House in Fayetteville.
She is preceded in death by her daughter Barbara Ann Byrd, her parents, Oscar and Elise Bullock Grimsley, two brothers, Randell Grimsley and Bill Grimsley.
Linda leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Jerry Byrd, one daughter, Leslie (Jerome) Lee of Lumberton, her grandchildren, Jerry Lee and wife Jessica of Fayetteville, Aaron Lee of Lumberton, Christian Baxley and wife Faith, Matthew Byrd, and Tabitha Bass, ten great grandchildren, one brother, Junior Grimsley and wife Paulette, three sisters, Betty Ingbretson, Peggy Sasser, Carol Cook and husband Jerry and a special caretaker, her grandson, Aaron Lee and several nieces and nephews.
